David E. Buckingham

Born 03 Feb 1840 in Pleasant Hill (Stanton), DE.  He entered service at Wilmington, DE
d: 23 Nov 1915    He received the Medal of Honor  05 Feb 1865,

This is a heavily touched up copy of the tintype.  The image was made to look like it was taken outdoors when in reality it was not. The envelope this tintype is kept in says it was taken after the Battle of Wilderness, making it an 1864 image, if correct.
